We aim for all children to understand the benefits and feel ownership of the phone. If there’s resistance, we recommend raising it with your supervising social worker or the project team — we’ll work with you and the child to adapt where needed.
We've learned that the most important thing is to build understanding and trust with the child. It's important they understand what the solution is doing and how it benefits them. Most importantly, it's critical they understand that we are not spying on them or invading their privacy.
